Lester J. Venella, Jr., CFSP

President

Les graduated from Mercer County Community College Mortuary School and holds an Associate Degree from Rutgers University.  He has been a funeral director for 33 years.  Over the last 10 years, he has served as the President of the Saul Funeral Homes, Inc.  Currently, Les is a member of the Mercer County Funeral Directors Association and has previously held officer positions within the association.  He is also an active member of the Hamilton Township Rotary Club, the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, and the Mercer County Networking Group.  Over the past 5 years, Mr. Venella has participated in delivery of meals for the Hamilton Township Meals on Wheels program.

Kimberly M. Saul-Bowne, CFSP

Kimberly graduated from the Hun School of Princeton, Class of 1988, where she was inducted to the Athletic Hall of Fame for earning twelve Varsity letters.  She graduated from Randolph-Macon College, Class of 1992, with a B.S. in Psychology and later pursued her degree in Mortuary Science from American Academy, McAllister Institute of New York City.  Kimberly and her brother, W. Scott Saul, are fourth generation owners of Saul Funeral Homes, Inc.  Kim is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP), a member of New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, Mercer County Funeral Directors Association, and currently Vice-Chair of the Thanexus Board of Directors.  Presently, she serves on the Board of Mobile Meals of Hamilton, the Visiting Nurses Board of Trenton, and the Strategic Planning Committee for the Hun School of Princeton, Princeton, NJ.  Kimberly holds both a Life and Health Producer’s License in the State of NJ. 

Kimberly’s commitment to sincerity, service, sensitivity, and support are an on-going effort to both the community and the families that she serves.

Amber L. Frese, CFSP

Amber is a licensed funeral director who has been with the firm since 2002. She is a graduate of Towson University where she received a Bachelor Degree in Psychology in 2001.  Amber received a certificate in Funeral Service and Mortuary Science from Mercer County College in 2003, where she also served as her class secretary. Amber is an active member of the Mercer County Funeral Directors Association and the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association.

Kathryn E. Morales, CFSP

Kathryn is a graduate of Steinert High School.  In 1996 she joined Saul Funeral Homes, Inc. as an intern while pursuing her career in funeral service.  Kathryn graduated from Mercer County Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science.  She became a licensed funeral director in 2000 when she received her Certificate of Proficiency in Funeral Service.  Kathryn is a member and Second Vice President of the Mercer County Funeral Directors Association and completed her Certified Funeral Service Practitioner designation (CFSP) in 2008.  It is Kathryn's goal to serve every family with respect and dignity in their time of loss.

Mary E. Weber, CFSP

Mary attended Rutgers University and graduated from Mercer County Community College in 2001 where she earned a Certificate in Funeral Service and Mortuary Science.  Mary has been employed by Saul Funeral Homes, Inc. as a licensed funeral director since March 2002.  She completed her Certified Funeral Service Practitioner designation (CFSP) in 2007.  Mary has her insurance producer’s license and is a member of the Mercer County Funeral Directors Association, as well as the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association.  Compassion, quality of service and professionalism are major components of Mary's commitment to her families.

Reese R. Lieb

Reese joined Saul Funeral Homes, Inc. as a licensed funeral director in October 2006.  She is a graduate of Mercer County Community College and served as class President.  Reese has been working in funeral service for 5 years and is an active member of the Mercer County Funeral Directors Association.  It is Reese’s mission to enable every individual to have the peace of mind of knowing that they are in the best of care and will be treated as family.

Dawn Selover, CFSP

NJ Lic. No. 3853

Dawn has been a licensed funeral director since 1987. Dawn received her Certified Funeral Service Practitioner designation (CFSP) in 1996.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences from Thomas Edison State College. Professionally, Dawn is a member of the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, a former member of its Executive Board, and former President and member of the Essex Union and West Hudson Counties Funeral Directors Association. Over the years, she has participated in many open forums and presentations on funeral service for many groups including church groups and adult forums, high school and middle school classes, teacher enrichment programs as well as with the Middlesex County Coalition for Traumatic Loss Council. Dawn also volunteers as a member of the North Brunswick Township Municipal Alliance Committee, the Emanuel Community Development Corporation, formerly was a founding member of the North Brunswick Education Foundation and member and former Vice President of the Livingston Park Elementary School PTO.

Lisa M. Polascak

I attended Mercer County Community College, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Applied Science, Business Management, and a Certificate of Proficiency in Funeral Service.  While in mortuary school I served as Vice-President of Sigma Phi Sigma.  I received a scholarship from the NJ State Funeral Directors Association, as well as the Mercer County Funeral Director Association.  After Graduation and successfully attaining my Funeral Directors License, I became an member of the NJ State Funeral Directors Association, Mercer County Funeral Directors Association, and more recently a member of The American Society of Embalmers.  My main focus is compassionately serving families at their time of need and exceeding their expectations with compassion and empathy.  I am also focused on continuing my professional education so I may better serve families as well as the community.

Previously, I was a volunteer EMT at Nottingham Ambulance Squad, as well as a CPR instructor for the American Red Cross.  I attended the Dempster Fire Training Center-Fire Academy and  graduated in 2012.  I am currently an active volunteer Firefighter at Mercerville Fire Company.

Donald J. Capelli, CFSP

Don, a graduate of Hammonton High School, attended Glassboro State College then matriculated and graduated in 1974 from the American Academy, McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science in New York City.  Don has been a licensed funeral director at Saul Funeral Homes, Inc. for over 30 years.  He has served as a former Vice President and member of the Hightstown/East Windsor Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Hightstown/East Windsor Improvement Project.  Don is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP). For the past 10 years, Don, along with his family, has proudly been a part of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure.  Don’s compassion and professionalism have well-served the many families he has assisted.
