Obituary

Barbara Lee "Bobbie" Leibe, 84, of Mercerville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, surrounded by her husband and four children.

She was born on July 22, 1932 in Irvington, NJ where she was raised and was a graduate of Irvington High School. In 1953, she married the love of her life, Ret. Major Edward R. Leibe, NJ State Police. Bobbie was extremely proud to be the wife of a NJ State Trooper. The couple began their married life in West Orange, NJ and permanently moved to Mercerville, NJ in 1967, where they raised their four children, Linda Kregloski, Lauren Adams Hooker, Lisa Ryerson, and Eddie Leibe.

She was known for her generous heart and her tremendous strength she provided to her husband and children throughout the years. Bobbie loved holidays and family get-togethers and welcomed every opportunity to spend time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who welcomed with great joy each of her thirteen grandchildren, Christopher (Kregloski), Emily (Krutsch), Bridget, Rachel, Eddie (Adams), Christine, Maggie, Nicole, Genna (Ryerson), Giacomo, Bronwen, Nora and Oscar (Leibe) and two great grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb (Krutsch).

A memorial service will be held for family and friends at the NJ State Police Museum Memorial Garden at Division Headquarters, West Trenton, NJ at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to a charity of a donor's choice by visiting In Memory Of at www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.

Services are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
