Obituary

David Earl Johnstone, 50, of Hamilton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at home.

Born in Princeton, NJ on November 11, 1967, David was raised in Hamilton and was a graduate of Nottingham High School, Class of 1985. He was currently employed with Home Depot of South Brunswick where he was a Department Manager and was also employed with Hamilton Hospital years ago.

David loved his daughters and was always so proud of them and their many accomplishments. He had a variety of interests throughout his life which included music, cooking, art, watching MASH, watching his favorite football team, the Minnesota Vikings, whether they won or lost, and was so proud of his Irish heritage.

Predeceased by his grandparents, Earl and Helen Jeffries and George and Retta Johnstone, his father, David A. Johnstone, his brother, Gerald E. Harrison, and his aunt and uncles, Dot Martin, and George and Donald Johnstone; he is survived by his mother, Carolyn A. (Jeffries) Harrison; two daughters, Chelsey A. and Sara J. Johnstone; his brother, Roy J. Johnstone; and his niece, Thea M. Johnstone, all of Hamilton; his aunt, Ethel Villas; his aunt and uncle, Cathy and Andy Everk of Levittown, PA; his godson, Brandon Palombi and his many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
