Earl F. Davison, Jr., 84, of Plainsboro, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Earl was an honorably discharged US Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict from 1954-1956. He was a nuclear detector creator for Princeton Gamma Tech in Rocky Hill until his retirement. Earl was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury for the past 8 years, a 50 year member of the Boy Scouts and most recently the coordinator of the Boy Scout National Camp Schools. He was the recipient of the "Silver Antelope", the highest volunteer award in the Boy Scouts. He also taught at the Philmont Scout Ranch and worked at the National Jamborees. In his spare time he enjoyed Legos and jigsaw puzzles.
Predeceased by his parents, Earl F., Sr. and Mildred (Hagerty) Davison and his son, Robert "Bobby" R. Davison; he is survived by his loving wife, Mildred “Bea” (Collier) Davison; his son and daughter-in-law, Earl F., III and Marian Davison; his daughter, Carlene Schulte; his four grandchildren, Kyle, Robert, Scott and Melanie; his great-grandson, RJ and his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sylvia Davison.
Funeral Services are being handled privately under the direction of the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ.
