Eileen A. Martin, 86, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Martin was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School West, Class of 1949 and for a short while was employed as a Secretary before raising her children at home. She had a love for traveling, especially to Myrtle Beach and was happiest when spending time with family and friends. Eileen also enjoyed needlecraft, theatre and dinner shows.
Predeceased by her parents, Herman and Marie (Yuschak) Enslin and her son, Gregory Martin; she is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Alan R. Martin; her loving children, Karyn Vandegrift and husband, Harold, Arlene Gonzalez and companion, Brian Szul and Jeffrey Martin and wife, Kristin; her cherished grandchildren, Bryan Vandegrift and wife, Megan and Gavin and Nina Martin; her son-in-law, Joseph Gonzalez; her sister-in-law, Evelyn Brooks as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, New Jersey.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton, New Jersey.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Saul Colonial Home.
