Frank J. Cosolito, 80, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Cosolito received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University and Master’s Degrees in Health Physics and Nuclear Engineering from New York University. He went on to work for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection as a nuclear physicist until his retirement in September 1998.
Predeceased by his parents, Francesco P. and Maria (Vitteta) Cosolito and his brother, George P. Cosolito; he is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan C. (Funk) Cosolito; his three children, Frank G. Cosolito and wife, Wendy D., Maria Cosolito Gaskill and John W. Cosolito; his three grandchildren, David C., Christina M., and Michael F. Cosolito and wife, Rachel C. and his great-grandson, George M. Cosolito.
A Memorial Gathering for friends and family will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00pm at the Funeral Home.
