Joseph 'Joe' A. Ialacci, 80, of Hamilton passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018, in Trenton.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Joe enjoyed creating a family with his beloved wife, Arlene, in their Hamilton home, built by his family. Joe proudly served his country in the Army Reserves. Although challenged in the kitchen, he ironically spent most of his time in the Reserves as a cook (read: KP duty). He also spent his younger years as a Field Surveyor. Joe enjoyed riding motorcycles well into his 70s and weekly honed his target skills with sporting firearms practice.
Undoubtedly, Joe's most predominate passion and one of his greatest attributes to life occurred behind a microphone, at the keys of a piano. A natural entertainer, he was an extremely talented pianist, organist, musician, and teacher. He performed independently, in a trio with his two sons, and alongside big band orchestras. Joe entertained throughout the tri-state area, created many of his own musical pieces, and produced an album. Additionally, he took pride in teaching piano, organ, and overall music to students of all ages.
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary (Viteritto) Ialacci; Joseph is survived by his wife of 57 years, Arlene M. (Carr) Ialacci; his two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Linda Ialacci, and John and Maria Ialacci; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene and Frank Herdt, and Toni and Anthony Paccillo, III; his ten grandchildren and one grandchild-in-law, Tabatha Ialacci, Jocelyn Ialacci, Dean and Alisa (Ridolfino) Ialacci, Nico Ialacci, Alexandria Herdt, Victoria Herdt, Giovanna Paccillo, Anthony Paccillo, IV, Christian Herdt and Nicholas Paccillo; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Edward Leigh and Mary Ann and Michael Jacob; and a plethora of adored friends and extended family.
