Karen M. Marhold, 48, of Hamilton, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Compassionate Care in Hamilton.
Born in Brooklyn, Karen graduated from F.I.T. in 1989. She worked in the fashion industry for many years at L'Oreal/Lancome as a manager. Fifteen years ago, she moved to the Hamilton area. Karen enjoyed the beach, being with her family but most of all she adored being a mother.
Predeceased by her father, Patrick Walsh; her mother-in-law, Elizabeth C. Marhold; she is survived by her mother, Rosemarie Bender Walsh, her loving husband of 16 years, Andrew Marhold, her three children, John, Thomas and Lauren Marhold; her father-in-law, William Marhold; her sister, Rosemarie Walsh, of Bronx, NY; her brother, Joe and wife Melissa Walsh, of Maybrook, NY; her sister-in-law, Christine and husband Dean Morgan, of Marshall, VA; her brother-in-law, Scott and wife Lindsay Marhold, of Austin, TX; her nieces and nephews, P.J. Walsh, Gabrielle Walsh, Jennifer Knight, Cory Morgan, Ashley Morgan, Will Marhold, Caroline Marhold, Brewer Marhold, Alex Walsh, Cameron Walsh; and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 10:00 am at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, New Jersey 08690.
