Kenneth E. Smith, 68, of Hamilton, passed away at home on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Mr. Smith was born and raised in the Hamilton area, having lived in Wrightstown briefly before living in Philadelphia for over 20 years then moving back to Hamilton. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School West class of 1967. Mr. Smith retired from the US Postal Service after nearly 40 years of service. He was a supervisor in the Philadelphia Bulk Mail Center. He enjoyed cycling and skiing and was a member of the Gay Outdoors Club of Philadelphia.
Predeceased by his parents, Richard H. and Rose Anna (Glatt) Smith; and his mother, Virginia (Krauss) Smith; he is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman A. and Shirley Smith of Robbinsville, and Thomas and Christine Stead of California; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Charles Larkin of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Linda and Joe Gemsch of California; his former wife, Barbara Wilson of Hamilton; his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Amy Smith of Pennington; his grandchildren, Anna and Daniel; his several nieces and nephews, including Joshua Smith of Robbinsville; his many cousins, including Patricia and Ted Delozier of Robbinsville; his friend, Esther Hohmann; and his dedicated caregiver, Cynthia Hill.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, New Jersey.
Interment will follow at Monument Cemetery in Beverly, New Jersey.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
