Mary T. (Maldera) Schiaretti, 96, of Hamilton Square, died peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, NJ, where she went to St. Joachim's School and resided, until her recent move to Hamilton. Mary was a member of St. Anthony's Altar Rosary Society and Mount Carmel Guild. She also was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver. She loved her family and friends with great passion. Mary loved to watch game shows on TV and read periodicals. At 96, she still had a quick wit and sharp mind. She could easily tell you the current events of the day or what was on sale at the local supermarkets. Mary was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Rosario Jim Schiaretti, her daughter, Angela A. Schiaretti who passed in October, her parents, Luigi and Angela Veresano Maldera, her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Mae Maldera, her sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Joseph Marcucci, her brothers, Joseph and Michael Maldera and her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Anthony and Anna Petito, Joseph and Julia Schiaretti, Michael Schiaretti and many relatives.

She is survived by her daughter, Olympia J. Schiaretti with whom she resided, her sister and brother-in-law, Jennie and Albert Brogel; her sister-in-laws, Betty Maldera and Nancy Schiaretti; and many other nieces, nephews and special friends.

Funeral services for Mary will begin Monday, March 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, 626 South Olden Ave., Trenton, NJ.

Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ 08690.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Colonial Home.
