Albert E. Swick, Sr. (Sparkey), 87, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, Albert was a lifelong area resident.
An electrician by trade, he retired from General Motors and had previously worked at Western Electric and owned and operated Al's Electronics for many years.
He enjoyed rebuilding TV's and radios, hunting, camping, bowling, playing musical instruments, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Son of the late Albert and Florence Swick, he is also predeceased by his wife Mercell L. Locklear Swick in 1996, and his daughter, Barbara Anne Swick in 1972.
Albert is survived by his sons, Terry Locklear, Albert E. Swick, Jr. and his wife Kathy, Kenneth C. and Richard K. Swick; his daughter, Deborah L. Esposti and her husband Paul; his grandchildren, Danielle, Rich, Ryan, Heather, Matthew and Kyle; his great-grandchildren, Chase, James and Cassian; and his beloved companion, Dee Smith.
The funeral will be held 11:30am Monday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
