Albert F. McKee, 90, of Hamilton Square, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, he moved to New Jersey 60 years ago, living in Hopewell and Pennington prior to settling in Hamilton Square. Albert honorably served his country in the United States Marines from 1946-1947. He went on to work for IBM as a machine maintenance mechanic for 32 years. He was a Charter Member of Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Hamilton, a member of the Falls Township Rifle and Pistol Association, the Association of NJ Rifle and Pistol Clubs, Trout Unlimited, NRA and Catskills Fly Tyers Guild. Albert enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching hockey, trap shooting, and camping at Russell Brook Campsite in Cooks Falls, NY.
Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Esther McKee; his brother, Bruce McKee; his grandchildren, Brenton and Sharla Schivley; and his wife of 63 years, Dorothy E. McKee; he is survived by his three children, Scott A. McKee and wife, Robyn, Caryl M. Schivley and husband, Rev. Chuck, Jr., and Brian W. McKee; his grandchildren, Luke, Beth, Shelley and husband, Chris, Jessica and Katelyn; his great-grandchildren, Hailey, Nathan, Hayden, Nina, Hudson and William; as well as his younger sister, Esther Timari.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
