Alexander W. Berrien, Jr., 88, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Compassionate Care Hospice at RWJ in Hamilton, NJ, surrounded by his family.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Alexander was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and served during the Korean War. He was a sprinkler fitter and member of Local Union 692 and retired after over 50 years of service.
Predeceased by his parents, Alexander W. Berrien, Sr. and Mildred (Britton) Berrien Leitch; his wife of 58 years, Betty June Berrien; and his sister, Ellen Toth; he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Michele and George Mochel of Hamilton; his sons and daughters-in-law, Alex and Lynda Berrien of Browns Mills and Brent and Vicki Berrien of Hamilton; his three grandchildren; his great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private and under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
