Betty L. Proveaux, 92, of Robbinsville, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Columbus, GA, Mrs. Proveaux retired from General Motors as a press operator after 32 years of employment. She was a member of The Victory and Ashlar Chapters of the Eastern Star for 50 years, having been a past Matron twice of the Ashlar Chapter, Grand Representative to Arkansas, and Grand Officer in New Jersey. In her spare time, she loved crocheting and reading.
Predeceased by her parents, Charlie Frank and Fannie Loyes (Cheshire) Daniel; her husband, H. Klekley Proveaux; and her 3 brothers and 2 sisters; she is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Daniel; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Eastern Star Services will begin on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m., at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
