Carl A. Luthke, Sr., 84, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018, at his home in Hamilton, NJ.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He retired from U.S. Steel after 45 years where he worked as an electrician. Mr. Luthke was a member of Capital Assembly of God in Hamilton. Carl enjoyed gardening and his happiest times were spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents, August and Freda Martin Luthke; and his sister, Florence Schueler; he is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Frances (Maccarone) Luthke; his sons and daughters-in-law, Carl, Jr. and Beth Luthke and David and Erika Luthke; his grandchildren, David, Karly, Carl and Megan Luthke; his brother-in-law, James Maccarone; and his sister-in-law, Mary and her husband, Frank Capasso.
Church services will be celebrated on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at the Capital Assembly of God, 1380 Whitehorse-Hamilton Square Rd., Hamilton, NJ.
Interment will follow at Colonial Memorial Park in Hamilton, NJ.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
