Carl R. Corson, 91, of Hamilton Square, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.
Born in Erma, NJ, he was raised in Cape May, NJ. Carl attended Central High School in Philadelphia, and upon graduating, he enlisted in the US Navy where he was honorably discharged. After he was discharged, he enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania-School of Electrical Engineering. He dedicated the next 35 years working at RCA and received many patents through the years.
In 1948, he married Margaret Louise Corson and they started their beautiful family. Carl enjoyed his weekly pinochle games with his friends in Ewing. He was a longtime Elder of Hope Presbyterian Church, who was very involved with bible studies and missions. Carl enjoyed music, playing the guitar and traveling.
Predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Louise Corson; he is survived by his second wife, Peggy Yengo Corson; his children, Carla and David Grover, Tim and Kathy Corson, Robin Hetrick and Don and Elisabeth Corson; his grandchildren, Ron and Heather Grover, Rick Grover, Stacy and Troy Hetrick, Emily, Nathanial and Aidan Corson; his great-grandchildren, Leila and Amelia; and his extended family, Laurie, Joan, Marley, Carla, Aaron, Meredith, Shannon, Josie, David, Lauren, Gracyn, Hadley and Dawson.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at the Hope Presbyterian Church, 140 Denow Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Interment will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Rd, Ewing, NJ 08628.
