Dan Paul Michal, 50, of Mansfield Twp., passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018, at home.
Born in Trenton, he lived in West Windsor prior to moving to Mansfield. Dan was a proud union carpenter of Local 781 Princeton, Local 254 Central Jersey, Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, and Mercer Management. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing and collecting, going to baseball games, and gardening; but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Ralph S. and Alice O. (Baker) Michal; and his brother, Michael John Michal; he is survived by his wife of 17 years, April A. (Bish) Michal; his two daughters, Abby Morgan and Grace Ann Michal; his siblings, Christopher Michal, Richard Michal and his wife, Virginia, James Michal and his wife, Cory, Ralph Michal and his wife, Melissa, Mary Alice Henry and her husband, Dale, Kathleen, Doug and William, Olivia Fuller, Patricia Buchner and her husband, Jeffrey, and Anne Marie Johnson and her husband, George; his nephews and nieces, Richard, Jr. and his wife, Beccey, Elizabeth and her husband, Tim, Steven, Matthew, Alice and her husband, Demetrios, Lucy, Mary Rose, Judy, Theresa, Gregory, Jessica, William, Olivia, Samantha, Amanda, Joanna, and Brian; his great-nephew, Peter; his great-nieces, Madison and Mckenna; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles Reed and Patricia Ann Bish; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles Bish and Diane; his nephew, Noah; and his many loving aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday. November 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, St. Raphael RC Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ.
Interment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday. November 20, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 21, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
