Danuta Widlicka, 61, of Plainsboro, passed away Saturday in her home.
Danuta was born in Warsaw, Poland, where she earned her master's degree in computer science. She immigrated to America in 1987, and worked as a computer programmer thereafter for 23 years.
She was an avid gardener, equestrian, animal-lover, nature enthusiast and a mother of limitless wisdom, patience and love.
She was a devoted Catholic and parishioner at Queenship of Mary, serving as Eucharistic
Minister, and volunteering at nursing homes and hospitals. Her generosity extended as far as Guatemala, where she volunteered for mission charity work, and sponsored two children.
She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Andrzej Widlicki, her adoring son
Mikolaj Widlicki, and beloved daughter-in-law Mary Widlicki.
She lived with honor, courage, faith, and good humor. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
The funeral will begin 9am Wednesday at the A. S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main St., Cranbury. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 185 Applegarth Rd., Monroe, NJ, with Fr. Robert Medley of the Queenship of Mary Parish officiating.
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick.
