Dorothy M. Kamrad, 91, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Greenwood House Home in Ewing.
Born in Trenton, Dorothy was a lifelong area resident. She retired in 1991 from the State of New Jersey as a telephone operator and went on to work as a clerk for Bernie’s Bicycle Shop in Mercerville. Dorothy was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Hamilton and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, George and Anna (Crush) Gadsby; her husband, John Kamrad; her sister, A. June Foley and her brothers, Thomas and George Gadsby; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and John Murphy of Mercerville; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Paula Kamrad, Michael and Geriann Kamrad, and Stephan and Susan Kamrad, all of Hamilton; 10 grandchildren, Christina Zanino and husband, Thomas, Lisa McNulty and husband, Ronald, Lauren Kamrad and wife, Nicole, Tristan Kamrad and wife, Danielle, Steven Kamrad and wife, Amelia, Robert Kamrad, Kurt Kamrad, Devon Hutchinson and husband, Michael, Jason Murphy and Katie Brindley, and John Murphy and wife, Noreen; and her great-grandchildren, Gianna, Genesis, Geneva, Ronnie, John, MacKenzie, Madison, Mason, Silas, Anthony and another on the way.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
