Dorothy V. Scott (nee Lawton), passed away peacefully on February 23, 2006..
The wife of the late Charles A. Scott, Dorothy was born and raised in Trenton, NJ, where she lived most of her adult life-later residing with family in Wayne, PA.
Known as “Dot” to her family and friends, she loved everyone and, in return, was loved by all. Her upbeat, fun-loving outlook endeared her to people of all ages. She valued family and friends above all else.
She is survived by her daughter Betsy Fitzmeyer and her son Dr. Charles A. Scott, Jr. Dorothy was also a second mother/best friend to her late daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn S. Scott. Additionally, she was a loving grandmother to seven and great-grandmother to fifteen.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
