Elizabeth M. Mood, 82, of Hamilton passed away in Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Elizabeth retired after 28 years of service as a clerk for the New Jersey State Department of Treasury. She enjoyed time with her family.
Daughter of the late James and Jennie Markley and sister of the late Marie Cartlidge and Thomas, James, Howard, Jack, William and Lawrence Markley, Elizabeth was also predeceased by her dear friend, Jake Berner. She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Ferguson and her husband Joseph; one sister, Dorothy Morris; three brothers, Robert, Edward, and Richard Markley; one granddaughter, Carole Graham and her husband, Gary of Spring, TX; two great-grandchildren, Jake and Wyatt; and many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth is also survived by her dear friends, Joe, Julie and Gene.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:30am Thursday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton.
