Ethel “Kip” May Smith, 89, of Tampa FL, formerly of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2019, in the comfort of her home.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Ethel was a lifelong area resident prior to moving to Pennsylvania 5 years ago and spending the past year in Tampa. She enjoyed working as a dental assistant for Dr. David Popkin in Trenton and as a receptionist for Besselaar Associates in Princeton prior to retirement. Ethel was a beautiful pianist and taught piano for a short time. She loved country line dancing, going to the casino and cheering on the Phillies, but was happiest when spending time with family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, William, Jr. and Florence (Wismer) Cramer; her step-mother, Helen Cramer; her husband, Billy Ray Smith and her sister, Doris Hindley; she is survived by her daughter, Lynn Henk and husband, Norman; her sons, Robert Austin and wife, Shellie, and Gary Austin and wife, Susan; her 10 grandchildren; her 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Carol Carlson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
