Filippo DiMeglio, 50, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March, 27, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Fiaiano Barano D’Ischia, Italy, Filippo spent most of his life residing in the Princeton area. He was a chef and owner of Vesuvio Pizzeria and Pizza DiMeglio.
Filippo enjoyed the outdoors and spending time fishing. Above all else he cherished time with his family, especially time with his daughter, Michela.
Predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Michela (Buono) DiMeglio; and his brother, Vinny; he is survived by his wife, Krista (Hullfish) DiMeglio; his daughter, Michela; his siblings, Luigi (Susan) and Angelo (Amy) DiMeglio, Anna (Vinny) Trani and Josephine (Adam) Lucarini; his sister-in-law, Joann DiMeglio; and his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 3:30 p.m.
