Florence Mizzell, 82, of Ewing, passed away Saturday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Mizzell resided in Sylacauga, AL for several years before returning to the Trenton area about 35 years ago.
She retired from Bell Atlantic in Trenton and was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Ewing and its ECHO Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Zebulan Pike Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Daughter of the late Preston and Caroline Helton, she is survived by two daughters, Lynda Carmichael of Colorado Springs, CO and Susan Mizzell of Houston, TX; a son, Thurman Mizzell of Ewing; a sister, Anna Dawidowski of Lawrenceville; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Nancy Helton of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Ian Carmichael, Casey Mizzell, Austin Mizzell and Rebecca Mizzell and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held 10am Thursday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
