Frank “Joe” Pover, Jr., 86, of Florence Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 28, 2019.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident, formally of West Windsor and East Windsor. Joe spent his career roofing and retired from the Roofer Union Local 30 with many years of service. He enjoyed horse racing, playing cards and quoits with family and driving tirelessly around New Jersey. Joe especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank J. Sr., and Marie (Pfaff) Pover; his brother, John Pover and sister, Marie Lenart; he is survived by his daughter, Beth DeAngelo and son-in-law, Michael; his son, Todd Pover; grandson, Oliver Pover; and his cherished friend, Ida Serrano; he is also survived by his sister, Fran Bodolosky; his brothers, William Pover and wife, Judy, and Richard Pover; his many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family including, Mindy and Tom Daugherty, Raquel and Carlos Bell, Zachary, Alexandria and Brielle Daugherty and Blake Bell.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with remembrances at 10:30 a.m., at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ 08690.
Interment will follow at East Windsor Cemetery in East Windsor, NJ.
