Frank Logan Herbert, 79, of Monroe Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019, at his home.
Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, he was a graduate of FHS Class of 1958. He went on to attend University of South Carolina on a scholarship. Frank joined the Marine Corp in 1963 and served 4 year, two of which he served as a Presidential Honor Guard under President Eisenhower in Washington D.C. Frank worked as an Equipment Operator for PSE&G and retired after 37 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Logan and Evelyn Herbert; his brother, Henry Herbert, and sister, Barbara Giangrant; he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marjorie Clare (Dreyer) Herbert; his devoted daughter, Stephanie Boese; and his extended family and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a service at 3:00 p.m. at A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 N. Main Street, Cranbury, NJ 08512.
Burial of his cremated remains will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road, Tennent, NJ 07763.
