Helen K. Falcone, 87, of Hamilton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, NJ.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Falcone was a lifelong area resident. She retired in 1995 after 39 years of service as a laboratory technician with American Cyanamid. Helen was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish in Trenton. Helen always spoke "stay well" when leaving someone's company and wished everyone "sto lat" on their birthday.
Predeceased by her parents, John and Catherine (Kokowski) Kmiecik; her husband, William D. Falcone; her sister, Joan A. Kmiecik; her brother, John Kmiecik; as well as her dear companion, Adam J. Marut; she is survived by her daughters, Sharon Smith and husband, Michael, and Karen Falcone; her grandchildren, Christa Marzan, Angela (Trevor) Opris, Gina (Kyle) Sutera, William Fortune and Alexander Smith as well as her great-granddaughter, Colette Joan Opris; her sister-in-law, Pamela Kmiecik; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 201 Adeline Street, Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton, NJ.
