Henry Paul Hicks, 22, of Yardville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.
Born in Trenton, Henry was a lifelong Yardville resident. He was a graduate of Steinert High School and went on to receive his Associates Degree from Mercer County College, where he held leadership positions and was proudly admitted in to the Honors program.
Henry was a bright light. He was intelligent, wonderful and hilarious. He touched everyone who was fortunate to know him. He lit up a room and could always make people laugh. A beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and best friend has left us all too soon. Words cannot express the void his passing leaves, even though Heaven has gained an angel. His huge generous heart and bright light will be greatly missed.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Catherine and Henry P. Flynn, and Mildred and Henry Hicks, Sr., Henry is survived by his parents, Henry Jr. and Catherine (Flynn); his loving sisters, Jennifer and Melissa; many aunts and uncles, including Marianne Hicks and Eileen Folmer, many cousins, including Maura Folmer and many loved friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Family and friends may call on Friday, May 22, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Henry was loved and will be deeply missed all the days of our lives. Until we meet again, he will watch over us.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Henry's memory to City of Angels of New Jersey,
