John E. “Jack” Simmons, 63, of Bordentown passed away on Thursday (1/29/2004) at The University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Trenton, he grew up in Hightstown. He was a resident of Hightstown for 40 years before moving to Bordentown 20 years ago.
Mr. Simmons retired from Educational Testing Service (ETS) after 30 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Hightstown Fire Company. Jack was a Track Promoter of East Windsor Speedway for 30 years. He was an avid Nascar fan.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Simmons, his mother, Jeanette Simmons, his daughter, Sherry Greczyn, his son and daughter-in-law, John and Brenda Simmons, Jr., his sister, Lois Moore; three grandchildren, Jessica Greczyn, Ryan and Allison Simmons; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (2/3/2004) at 10:00 AM at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, NJ.
Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown, NJ.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday (2/2/2004) from 6 PM until 9 PM at the funeral home.
