Lorraine J. Simmons, 76, of Yardville passed away Sunday at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Trenton, she lived in the Hamilton area her entire life.
She was a dedicated school bus driver in the Hamilton and Washington Township area for 40 years and a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.
Predeceased by her parents, Albertus J. Scales, Sr. and Martha J. Scales and her husband, Edward Simmons, Sr.; she is survived by a daughter, Bonnie L. Hartz; a son, Edward Simmons, Jr.; a sister, Joyce Michal her husband, Raymond Sr.; a brother, Albertus J. Scales, Jr. and his wife Patricia; five grandchildren, Vicki L. Berrien and her husband Brent, Andrea L. Hartz and her fiancée Phillip Pointin, Jason E. Simmons and his fiancée Brandy Beltz, Shawn R. Simmons, and Brittany E. Simmons; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held 9:30am Saturday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
