Marjorie G. Stives, 87, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday in RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Marjorie graduated from Elmer L. Meyers High School, Class of 1941, and Wilkes Barre General Hospital School of Nursing in 1945 as a Registered Nurse.
She had lived and worked in the Mercerville/Princeton area most of her life and was a member of Saint Mark United Methodist Church of Hamilton Square.
Daughter of the late Robert and Jessie Morton, she is also predeceased by her husband, Frederick J. Stives, and her nephews, James R. Kelly and Timothy Stives.
Marjorie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, F. Robert and Jeanne Stives; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and John Coughlin; four grandchildren, Sean Robert Stives, and Christine, Jennifer and John Jr. Coughlin; her sister, Marion R. Vivian; her brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend, Martha Gaskill.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will be held Sunday in Beaumont Cemetery, Monroe Township, PA.
