Mildred R. Kraemer, 97, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, NJ. She was a strong and resilient woman with a giving heart to her family and friends.
Born in Camden, NJ, Mrs. Kraemer resided in the Morrisville-Trenton area nearly all her life. She was a Purchasing Agent for Center for Health Affairs in Princeton (formerly New Jersey Hospital Association) for 18 years. Mrs. Kraemer was a member of the Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital 50+ Club and the Hamilton Township Senior Citizens Group. She also enjoyed being a member of the 50+ Walkers Club, AARP and the Golden Nuggets Senior Group of Whitehorse.
Mildred had many stories spanning her life and was always willing to share, as her memory was still sharp until the day she passed. She enjoyed traveling; traveling up and down the east coast, once cross-country by car, and some memorable trips by train. She had many hobbies such as gardening, crocheting, trips with her church, and walking. She could ski, ice-skate, and shoot a rifle at one point in life. One of her greatest passions was reading. Mildred started going to the library at the age of 6 years old and enjoyed learning about any subject ever since.
Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Irene (Lebold) Bender and her sister-in-law, Rosalia Bender; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlene R. and James F. Dease, III of Bordentown; her brother, Harry Bender of Florida; her two grandsons, James F. Dease, IV and his wife, Sharon, and Ryan M. Dease; her niece, Irene Rose DeMartin and her husband, Michael; and her sister-in-law, Alfarata Nugent of South Carolina.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church, 71 Pearson Drive, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
Burial of cremated remains will be private under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
