Mildred T. Sciarrotta, 90, of East Windsor, passed away Sunday.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Sciarrotta was a life long area resident and was the former owner of Sciarrotta’s Windsor Hotel for 20 years with her late husband, Joseph, with whom she worked hand in hand.
She was a member of St. Gregory the Great RC Church, for 40 years, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of their Senior Citizens Club.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wife of the late Joseph A. Sciarrotta, and mother of the late Vincent and Joseph A. Sciarrotta, she is survived by a son, Donald Sciarrotta of East Windsor; a daughter, Phyllis Henrikson and her husband Russell of Hamilton Square; six grandchildren, Russell and Jeffrey Henrikson, Amy Morsillo, Timothy Feehan, Matthew Sciarrotta and Elizabeth Feehan; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral will begin 8:30am Thursday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3796 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am from St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.
