Miriam E. Montet, 85, formerly of Hamilton, passed away Monday in Waters Edge Nursing Home in Trenton.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Montet resided in Hamilton from 1973-1982 before returning to Cape May.
Predeceased by her parents, James H. and Mary E. Douglas, her husband Albert A. Montet, and her sister, Grace Williams, she is survived by two daughters, Audrey R. Hanlon and her husband Thomas F. of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Margaret M. Montet of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Daniel M. Hanlon of Boynton Beach, FL, Wendy D. Jameson and her husband Michael of Lake Worth, FL, and Amy E. Hanlon of Jackson, NJ; two great-grandchildren, Riley and Fisher Jameson of Lake Worth, FL; a brother, Howard Douglas and his wife Evelyn of Milwaukee, WI; two sisters, Ruth Caracciolo of Mt. Kisco, NY and Roberta Lucy of Waldwick, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held 11am Tuesday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment will follow in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.
Family and friends may call 6-8pm Monday at the Colonial Home.
