Natalie “Dot” Burton, 96, of Ewing, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton.
She was born and raised in East Trenton and moved to Ewing Township where she resided for over 63 years. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Church in Trenton.
She was the daughter of Rozalia and Joseph Wasielewicz of Lithuania. She was predeceased by her husband, George C. Burton, Sr. and her son, David J. Burton. She is survived by her son, George C. Burton, Jr. and his wife, Patricia K. Burton and one grandson, Joseph D. Burton. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews, Michele and Mimi Cappelli, Chris and Jessica Barrett, Dolores Swanhart, Dolores Valinis, Joan Donigan, Barbara and Jim Bohl, Pat Kieffer, Donald and Dot Fernandez, Bert and Phyllis Fernandez and Alexander Valinis. Her nieces and nephews were very special to her and she loved them very much.
Dot was a devoted wife and mother. She had a great love for animals, enjoyed doing 1000 piece puzzles and playing cards and crocheting.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 540 North Olden Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey.
Interment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Arrangements are under the direction of Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, New Jersey.
