Padecia E. Penn, 71, of St. Thomas, USVI, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, NJ.
Born in Tortola, BVI, Mrs. Penn graduate from Boston University, where she earned a Bachelors degree and later graduated from New York University as a Registered Nurse. She was employed with Dr. Hugh D. Melnick in New York for many years until her retirement.
Predeceased by her husband, Clyde F. Penn, Sr. and daughter, Desiree Penn; she is survived by her daughter, Darlene Penn of Duquesne, PA, and her son, Clyde F. Penn, Jr. and his wife, Irish of East Windsor, NJ; and her grandchildren, Ijah, Paiyton, Xavier and Cornell Penn, Javion and Jaylin Clifford, Alexis Demetrius and Miracle “Bri-Bri” Penn.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Funeral Services and Interment will take place at Apostolic Faith Mission Church in Smithbay and Western Cemetery, St. Thomas, USVI.
