Paul Halas, 86, of Cranbury, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Born in Slovakia, Mr. Halas fled to the United States as a teenager. He went on to become the proprietor of Halas Millwork Company in New Jersey and Florida for many years.
Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth (Juhas) Halas and brother, Julius Halas; he is survived by his daughters, Debbie Hamel and husband, Steve, Diane Halas Dewitt and Pam McKnight and husband, Peter; his grandchildren, Erica McKnight, Megan Crook and husband, Jason, Alexis Thompson and husband, Kyle, Stephan Hamel, Daniel Dewitt and Addison McKnight; his brother, Steve Halas and his nieces and nephews of Slovakia.
Funeral services will begin on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ.
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick, NJ.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home.
