Raymond O. Bearce, Sr., 82, of Toms River, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
Born in Trenton, he was a graduate of Hamilton High West. Mr. Bearce was a resident of Hamilton, prior to moving to Toms River. He was a paratrooper and was honorably discharged from the US Army. Raymond worked as a Road Superintendent for Hamilton Township Road Department and retired after 34 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing and most of all enjoyed spending his winters in Florida. He was also the past commodore of the Gilford Park Yacht Club.
Predeceased by his parents, Raymond G. Bearce and Helen (Mayer) Ciebiera; he is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret S. (Kenderdine) Bearce; his children, Sherry Kane (John Sasko), Raymond Bearce, Jr., and Dawn Bearce (Vini Lopez); his grandchildren, Stefanie Kane, Raymond John and Michael Ryan Bearce; his daughter-in-law, Debra Bearce; his siblings, Ronnie Bearce, Marlene Nawrocik, and Don Bearce; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
