Sophie Flynn, 98, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018.
Born in Roebling, NJ, Sophie had retired as Head Clerk with the State of New Jersey, Department of Health, WIC Program, with 16 years of service. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church.
Predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Anna Krivoy; her beloved husband, James J. Flynn; her aunt, Mary Evak; her sisters, Elizabeth Cookson and Anne Hibbs; her nephews, Joseph J. Struczynski, Sr. and R. Brent Hibbs; and her niece, JoAnne Speranza; she is survived by her two daughters, Gail and Janice Flynn; two grandsons, James J. Lucas and Joseph W. Adamczyk, Jr.; a very much loved nephew, Barry P. Hibbs and his wife, Ril; two nieces, and a very special niece, Jude Hibbs and her son, William McCoy; four great-nephews, Robert Hibbs and his wife, Patricia, and David Hibbs, Richard Speranza, Jr. and Joseph J. Struczynski, Jr.; three great-nieces, Diane Lamog and her husband, Gabe, Patricia Hibbs and Lindsay Speranza; and all the members of the very loyal and supportive family of the late James S. and Sarah Flynn.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 10:45 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Committal services and entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton Township, NJ
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
