Obituary

William “Brad” Corson, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, Brad was a resident of Hamilton Township for 29 years. He worked on the floor of the NYSE for 27 years and for the past 6 years for Home Depot.

Brad will be remembered for having an outgoing and infectious personality. He made sure that everyone he came across felt they had a special connection with him. His “dad” jokes, storytelling, and boisterous laugh earned him the nickname “Papa Corson” among his children’s friends.

Brad enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching sports, specifically Yankees baseball and Giants football. His true passion though was his family. He made time to coach his sons’ baseball and football teams and never missed their games or his daughter’s cheerleading, softball, and lacrosse events.

He fiercely loved his wife, Diane, through the good times and hard times. Their marriage thrived and endured 32 wonderful years as they built their life together in Hamilton. Provided the opportunity, he would give her the moon and the stars.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diane; his parents, Lynn and Joan; his four siblings, Shelley, Indy, Lauren, and Elisabeth; his children, William “Brad” Jr., Matthew, and Melissa; Brad Jr.’s wife, Danielle, and their two children, his grandsons, Liam and James.

Funeral services will begin on Friday, February 15, 2019, at 10:00 am at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Interment will follow at East Windsor Cemetery in East Windsor, NJ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Saul Colonial Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brad’s memory to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society by visiting In Memory Of at inmemof.org.
