William J. Moore, 75, of Ewing, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Staten Island, on July 14, 1943, Mr. Moore worked as a self-taught civil engineer and project manager with Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company for 43 years.
Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Marie (Tarnok) Moore, and his brother Edward Moore II; he is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Michele (Jeannette) Moore; his children, Edward Moore and wife, Lisa, Laura Moore (Martin) and her husband, Mark and William Moore Jr. and wife Rose Angela; his grandchildren; John Joe, Matthew, Melanie, Kayleigh, William III, Tyler and Sara; his siblings, Glen and his wife Kathy, Tommy and wife Gerry and Marie Moore (McCarthy) and her husband James, and loving sister in law Mary (Ruhl) Moore
William lived a long loving life as a dedicated New York’s sports fan and an avid golfer, who loved to vacation with his family.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home in Hamilton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 24, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY.
