William V. Scott, 72, of Morrisville, PA, formerly of Princeton Junction, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Penn Wissahickon Hospice in Philadelphia.
Born in Trenton, William has resided in Morrisville for the past fifteen years. He enjoyed spending time in his shop working on cars and other projects for himself and for others. Although retired for almost ten years, he had enjoyed his time working as a truck driver with various companies for over forty years. He was an active and hardworking man who felt that a body in motion stayed in motion. He loved watching Nascar races, listening to country music, taking cross country road trips and doing things for others without expecting anything in return. But most importantly, it brought him great joy to spend time with his friends and family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed but remembered most for his big gentle heart.
Predeceased by his parents, Robert W. Scott, Sr. and Marion E. (Bodine) Scott; he leaves behind to carry on his legacy, his loving daughter, Kelly A. Scott and husband, Brian; his grandson, Foster; his brother, Robert W. Scott, Jr. and wife Fay; his sister, Judith E. Rupert; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and large circle of friends.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
