Yolanda Nagy, 97, of Robbinsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Rose Hill Assisted Living in Robbinsville.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident having spent a few years in Florida before returning again to New Jersey. Mrs. Nagy was a lifelong member of the Hungarian Reformed Church where she was a member of the church choir and the Women’s Guild. She was a member of the Eastern Star and attended the Robbinsville Senior Center.
Yolanda was a social butterfly and enjoyed her sewing circle, playing cards, but above all she loved being with her family.
Predeceased by her parents, Alex and Ilona Baki; her husband, Alex J. Nagy; her brother, John Baki; her two sisters, Ethel Katona and Charlotte Baszczowski; her nephews, Joseph Katona, Mickey Baszczowski, Bruce Baki and Larry Katona. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Niedt D’Amico and her husband, Alfonso D’Amico; her son, Alexander S. Nagy and his wife, Joan; her grandchildren, Karl Niedt, III and his wife, Kristen, Heather Bartram and her husband, Michael, Stephen Nagy and Susan D’Amico; her great grandchildren, Karleigh and Karyssa Niedt and Joseph and Olivia Bartram; her nieces and nephews, Ilona, Les and John; her goddaughter, Gloria.
Funeral services will begin on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Church service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Hungarian Reformed Church, 180 Home Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08610 and will be officiated by the Reverend Laszlo Ujj.
Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Trenton.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
