Edna C. Haustowich, 96, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Hamilton Continuing Care.
Born in Trenton, Edna was a lifelong area resident and member of Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Hamilton Square. Her true life’s work and greatest passion was raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Edna was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the casino and Fred & Pete’s Luncheonette with her friends.
Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary (Keda) Sargo; her husband, John Haustowich; and her siblings, Michael Sargo, Anne Dempsey, Helen Cwiklinski and Mary Timko; she leaves behind to carry on her legacy, her four children, Joan C. Rehak of Hamilton, Barbara Haustowich of Hamilton, Patricia Greeny of Trenton and John Haustowich and wife, Donna, of Arizona; her grandchildren, Richard Greeny and wife, Autumn, and Deanne Kennedy and husband, Larry; and her great-grandchildren, Athena Greeny and Larry, Michael and Katie Kennedy.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Saint Mark United Methodist Church, 465 Paxson Ave, Hamilton, NJ.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
